The District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Ibrahim Adams for Sekyere East District Assembly, together with technical officers from the Assembly, has conducted a site inspection of the proposed 24-Hour Economy Market.
The inspection team included officers from the Engineer’s Office, the Budget Office, and the Physical Planning Office, Internal Audit office and MIS office.
The visit was to assess the suitability of the site, take measurements, and evaluate the necessary infrastructure required to support the government’s 24-Hour Economy Market initiative.
Speaking during the inspection, the Hon. DCE noted that the project is aimed at boosting local economic activities, creating jobs for the youth, and providing traders with a safe and well-planned space to operate both day and night.
The Engineer’s Office assured that technical assessments and cost estimates will be completed to ensure the market meets standard specifications, while the Physical Planning and Budget Offices indicated their readiness to facilitate planning and budgetary provisions.
