In accordance with Regulation 17(3) of the Public Financial Management Regulations, 2019 (L.I. 2378), the Ministry of Finance has directed the Regional Co-ordinating Councils to organise the 2027-2030 Regional Composite Budget Hearings for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across their respective regions.
The hearing provides an opportunity for the Regional Co-ordinating Council and National Technical Working Teams to review the financial performance of MMDAs for the 2026 financial year and assess their revenue and expenditure projections for the 2027-2030 period.
In this regard, the Sekyere East District Assembly was designated to host the zonal hearing involving the Asante Akim North Municipal Assembly, Sekyere Afram Plains District Assembly and Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly.
