The Sekyere East District Assembly organized a comprehensive two-day training workshop focused on operationalizing the District Local Revenue (dLRev) software. The primary goal was to modernize the Assembly’s revenue infrastructure, mitigate manual collection leakages, and significantly boost Internally Generated Funds (IGF).
With local governments increasingly required to build fiscal autonomy and rely less on central government transfers, deploying the dLRev.org platform represents a critical digital transformation initiative. Over the two days, participants transitioned from theoretical modules to live-system operations, learning how to build data records, generate automated bills, and manage digital mobile payments.
The workshop successfully trained core management personnel alongside field enumerators. It established an immediate implementation roadmap designed to expand the district’s rateables revenue base.
